I graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea in 1999 with a B.A.(Hons) degree in History. I then went on to study for an M.Phil. research degree in History and wrote a 60,000 word thesis titled James Bond: Fifty Years in Politics.
After leaving university, I worked in a number of areas, including call centres and as a technology solutions consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers before working in Local Government for 3 years. I joined the Civil Service in 2005, which is where I still work.
I am regularly contacted by all sorts of people on the subject of James Bond, ranging from students all across the world, to TV companies and those who just have an interest.
I do not mind answering questions and have received some strange ones since I first set up this website in 2000. I should make it clear that I am not in any way affiliated with EON Productions. I do get sent quite a lot of questions relating to script ideas and get asked how to get these ideas into a film - I cannot help you with this!
I have spend many years looking at the Bond films and novels from an academic point of view, so if you want to air your ideas or want some advice on research then I am happy to help. I try to answer all of the emails and questions I get, but please note that I am not a huge repository for trivia on Bond, so I may not be able to help with all questions!
